Our Experience With Yoho Mobile

Now, let’s take a look at our experience with Yoho Mobile eSIM. To give you an idea, I’ve tried Yoho Mobile in December 2022 during my travels in Thailand.

Purchase

Buying an eSIM on Yoho Mobile is easy. Once you’re on the website, you can pick your destination and preferred plan. The process is straightforward and takes a few minutes.

Compared to other providers, Yoho Mobile is quite new, but it still offers an easy process. To add a coupon code, you’ll need to click on View Cart and insert your coupon code.

One thing I like about Yoho Mobile is that you can also choose an unlimited plan in some destinations.

Regarding payment methods, you can only pay by credit card.

After purchasing a new eSIM, you can install the eSIM right away via the app/website. You’ll need to scan the QR code. Note that you’ll need to enable roaming to access the Internet.

You’ll also get an email confirmation, including the QR code.

Usability

Yoho Mobile is easy to use. Simply enter your destination to find plans available.

Although, it would be better if the coupon code area would be visible without having to click on View Cart.

Mobile Data

After installing the Yoho Mobile eSIM on my phone, I needed to enable roaming. It worked within a couple of minutes.

The Internet speed was fast and worked fine.

Support

I contacted Yoho Mobile via their Messenger App. Their reply was relatively fast. It took them 2h30 to get back to me. Although, their reply wasn’t really answering my question.

Our Opinion About Yoho Mobile

Yoho Mobile is a new eSIM provider that mostly covers Asia and Europe for the time being. Although, they did tell me they are developing more partnerships and hope to launch new regions soon.

Their website looks similar to Airalo.

I love that they offer both fixed and unlimited plans, so this can be a great option if you need a lot of data.

What To Do If Yoho Mobile Isn’t Working?

If you’re having issues with Yoho Mobile and can’t access the Internet, you can always contact the support to find a solution. The support is quick, so you should have a solution fast.

Usually, the issue is that you are connected to the wrong mobile network or that you forgot to set up the APN.

Here are some recommended steps:

1. In your device settings, your eSIM is active under Mobile Networks
2. Verify that mobile data is turned on for this eSIM
3. Verify that data Roaming is On
4. Add a new APN if needed
5. The newly created and saved APN is selected
6. You are manually connected to the supported network provider in your carrier settings
